Paris Saint-Germain are continuing talks with N'Golo Kante to secure the player's services during the summer transfer window. PSG is one of the clubs that have shown interest in the French midfielder, who has been one of Chelsea's best players in recent seasons.
N'Golo Kante joined the London Blues in the summer of 2016, transferring from Leicester City for €32 million. He has been one of Chelsea's key players in his three seasons at the London club and has helped the club win two trophies during the adventure at Stamford Bridge.
The player has an active contract with the club until the end of this year, but PSG are working to secure his services at the end of the season. The French are looking for a strong midfielder to help the team in their bid to win the Champions League, as the French side have missed two good chances to lift the trophy in the last four seasons.
Amid talks over Kante's transfer, Chelsea are on the other hand working to offer the French midfielder a new contract. Kante has shown great consistency and commitment to his current club and is one of the team's key players. Despite recent injuries, which have clearly affected his contribution to the team, the Frenchman continues to express his determination to return to the green fields, and is expected to be available at the end of this season.
If PSG manage to sign Kante, this transfer will be huge news for the French club and definitely a loss for Chelsea. PSG has spent more than 1 billion euros on transfers in the last three seasons and is working to strengthen the squad in order to triumph in Europe's most important competition.
