According to the prestigious Dailymail in England, Roma coach Jose Mourinho is seriously considering a return to the Premier League. More precisely at Chelsea, where the Portuguese coached 2 more times. The representatives of "The Special One" have made Mourinho's wish clear to the leaders of Chelsea, despite the fact that the latter still have faith in Graham Potter.
Mourinho's wife and children still live in London, while the coach himself has always preferred the Premier League, above all other championships. Another reason why the Portuguese wants to leave Rome is the inability of the Italian club to financially support Mou's objectives in the market.
Mourinho managed to triumph in the Europa Conference League last season with his team, while this year Roma is currently in fifth place in the championship. Capitals are finding it difficult to compete for the championship title, due to the lack of funds to invest in quality players. It is known that in the Premier League Mourinho will not have this problem, considering the purchasing power of the clubs.
But Chelsea are not the only option on the coach's radar, as West Ham are also another club potentially interested in Mourinho's services. The current manager, David Moyes, is going through a difficult period under the leadership of the team, however, it is not yet known whether the club management want Moyes to continue the job until the end of the season, or they are looking for a new manager now.
Mourinho does not want to leave Roma in the middle of the season, and in all likelihood will not be available until July. However, this is expected to offer the Portuguese more options at the end of this season. Based on Chelsea's run, it would not be a surprise if the manager's job at Stamford Bridge becomes vacant in the summer.
