Last season, in the FA Cup final, English fans boycotted and cheered against songs in honor of the Queen such as "Abide With Me" and "God Save the Queen".
At the time, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson condemned the behavior of Liverpool fans. Klopp, meanwhile, has recently reiterated that a minute's silence is the right thing to do. Germany told the media:
"I don't think our people need any advice from me to show respect. There are many examples where fans showed exactly the right respect. In February last year, Klopp lost his mother at the age of 81, and was unable to attend the funeral due to travel restrictions from Covid-19. The German technician said that he understands very well the sadness that the English are going through and added:
