Harry Kane is still hopeful of making a move to Manchester United this summer. The English striker remains under the target of the "Red Devils", as coach Erik ten Hag is looking for a central striker. United have yet to find a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, while loanee Wout Weghorst is also out of contract.
Kane, on the other hand, has only 1 year of active contract with Tottenham, a fact that could favor a move this market. Especially considering the fact that the club will not play in Europe next season. However, it seems that the leaders of Manchester United have somehow lost interest in the Englishman, after the demands of the president of Tottenham, Daniel Levy, which were considered unrealistic.
Levy still wants 100 million pounds for Kane's card, which is considered a high amount considering the player's age. Moreover, the Tottenham president is skeptical of selling the player to a rival Premier League team. This was one of the reasons for rejecting Manchester City's offer 2 years ago.
Based on this situation, United is looking for other alternatives and among the names are Rasmus Hojlund of Atalanta and the Frenchman Randal Kolo Muani of Eintracht Frankfurt. However, Kane has not yet given up on his goal of moving to a club where he can win trophies. Real Madrid also expressed interest in the Englishman, but the Spaniards are no longer interested, following the approach of Jude Bellingham, as well as the possibility of signing Kylian Mbappe next year.
Kane, meanwhile, managed to score a total of 30 goals during the season left behind in the Premier League. Only Manchester City's Erling Haaland managed to score more than the Tottenham bomber this season.
