Liverpool won at least 1-0 against West Ham, securing a very important victory in the Premier League. Darwin Nunez scored the only goal for "The Reds", which was the Uruguayan's first goal at Anfield. Quite decisive in this challenge was the goalkeeper Alisson, who saved a penalty, in order not to hand over any points to the opponents.
Klopp's men have been unpredictable this season, but the win against West Ham was Liverpool's third in a row in all competitions. The German technician was satisfied with his team, but underlined the aspects to improve in the game of "The Reds":
"I'am happy. In many parts of the match, we played quite well. While we were playing we were outstanding and we caused West Ham a lot of problems, but the only problem was that we didn't play like that for 95 minutes and we gave them space. They (West Ham) increased the risk by throwing Michail Antonio on and other players, and they were quite dangerous with long balls... I never thought it would be an easy game for us, but we got the right result and I think that we deserved it. There are 3 more points, quite important."
Meanwhile, Klopp did not spare praise for Darwin Nunez. The German coach said at the end of the meeting:
"He (Nunez) was outstanding. He is a massive talent and is only 22 years old. Nunez came from Portugal and wasn't there for long, so not long ago he was enjoying himself in Uruguay. He is a great talent and we are happy for him."
Klopp also commented on the penalty awarded in favor of West Ham, saying that the referee's decision was fair.
