The English media have informed that the management of Arsenal is ready to release Eddie Nketiah. The talented 24-year-old has long been linked with rival teams in the Premier League such as West Ham, Crystal Palace or Brentford, and it seems that Arsenal are already ready to accept offers for Nketiah's card.
The leaders of the London club already know that they have to sell players in order to secure the necessary finances to make big purchases, and Nketiah seems to be no longer in the plans of coach Arteta. The Londoners want around £40m for the player's card according to Football Insider, and West Ham currently lead the list of clubs interested in the talented footballer.
Meanwhile, Arsenal does not prefer to give up the player in the January market. However, sources close to the club have indicated that the Londoners will not hesitate to give the green light if the right offer knocks on the door.
Eddie Nketiah has not been able to secure a starting place in coach Arteta's team, as the player has often been activated as a replacement for Gabriel Jesus. Despite the limited minutes on the pitch, Nketiah has never disappointed Arsenal fans, and has been quite decisive several times with his goals for "The Gunners". This season, the player has scored 6 goals and 4 assists in 23 total appearances. An injury to Gabriel Jesus at the start of the season gave Nketiah more opportunities to showcase his talent, and good performances saw his card value rise as well.
Currently, the player has a contract valid until 2027 with Arsenal. This is after Nketiah signed a contract renewal last year. It remains to be seen what the next destination of Arsenal's talent will be.
