According to FootballTransfers sources, Cristiano Ronaldo will leave Manchester United at the end of the season, if the "Red Devils" do not manage to qualify for the Champions League. The Portuguese is thinking about a possible move to PSG in France, an option that did not seem feasible a few weeks ago.
CR7 missed the deep loss United suffered in the 4-1 derby with City. The official reason for the player's absence was a minor injury. Unable to activate for his team, the striker has headed to Portugal to judge more clearly on the future.
United will find it quite difficult to secure a place in the top four of the standings at Premier League this season, and that has led Ronaldo to consider the options he has on the table. Sources close to the footballer suggest that a return to Juventus has been ruled out as a possibility. Also, a return to Sporting Lisbon, the place where Ronaldo started his career is unlikely to happen at the moment.
Still valid option is a sensational move towards Paris Saint-Germain, where Ronaldo would play alongside Messi and Neymar in attack. However, from the French club there is still no official expression of interest for Ronaldo.
The latter has scored 15 goals so far in all competitions this season. But most of those accomplishments came in the first half of the season. Since the arrival of coach Ralf Rangnick at the helm of the United bench, Ronaldo has suffered a decline in form, failing to adapt to the German coach's module.
The English will have a new coach at the beginning of next season, but that may not be enough to convince Ronaldo to renew with United.
