Liverpool will give priority to the transfer of Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund, during the summer transfer window. According to the portal Caught Offside, sources close to "The Reds" have indicated that there is a high optimism for the approach of the English midfielder at Anfield.
Bellingham has been linked with Liverpool before, while elite clubs such as Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea are also thought to be in pursuit of the 18-year-old. Although Bellingham is still a young and inexperienced player, Jurgen Klopp believes that the club's veterans can help the Englishman consolidate his place in the team, thus guaranteeing Liverpool's future performance.
Leaders of The Reds believe the German coach is their ace up their sleeve, to persuade Bellingham to join them. This is because Klopp has already given evidence several times that young players develop quite well under his experience.
But Bellingham's transfer also depends on Erling Haaland's situation with Dortmund. Considering that in all likelihood, Haaland could leave in the summer for Real Madrid, or another club, Dortmund executives do not want to lose their 2 main stars, within 1 transfer window.
The Germans have sold their stars in the past, but there have been other cases where they have been "stubborn". This happened with Manchester United's interest in Jadon Sancho, who left for the English only when Dortmund saw fit. Moreover, the race for the Bundesliga title this season is still open. Bayern Munich currently leads the standings, but Dortmund is in second place with only 6 points less.
The departure of Haaland and Bellingham would be a big blow for Dortmund, in the title race.
