Chelsea coach, Thomas Tuchel, has said that he will contact Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, after the latter's incident at Arsenal, where the captain's ribbon was removed. The striker of the "gunners" was punished, because he returned late from a trip abroad. A disciplinary measure was taken against him by the club.
Aubameyang's future at Arsenal is already in doubt, as he was left out of the match in Premier League against West Ham. In this situation, there is more and more rumor about a reunion of the striker from Gabon, with his former coach, Thomas Tuchel.
Aubameyang worked under Tuchel at Borussia Dortmund, and the striker helped the German coach win his first major trophy as coach, DFB Pokal in 2017. It was Tuchel himself who expressed his regret for what happened to Aubameyang, and has said he plans to contact his former player. Tuchel stated:
"In a moment I will contact Aubameyang. I'm sorry he'm in trouble. I believe in his positive character, but I am not involved in this situation or in his club, it is only about the relationship between me and him. "
Meanwhile, the Arsenal coach commented in more detail on the situation, starting from the rumors about a possible move of Aubameyang towards Chelsea. The Spaniard said:
"Did he play his last game for Arsenal? All I can say is that at the moment, he is out of the team, he is not involved and unfortunately, this is the decision we have made. "All I can say now is that you can understand that it's a lot to digest and a really difficult decision to make, so we need some time."
