While the future of Kylian Mbappe is still in doubt, Paris Saint-Germain has made the next proposal for contract renewal. This time it is about a new contract, according to which the French superstar will benefit a full 50 million euros per season. That would make Mbappe the highest paid footballer in the world, and it seems the player is seriously considering the new proposal of the Parisian club.
It is already clear that Mbappe's future is between PSG and Real Madrid, but in addition to the new financial proposal, there is another reason why the striker may refuse the transfer to the Santiago Bernabeu again. It is about the rights of his image. Mbappe has made it clear that in any kind of situation, he wants to own 100% of the rights associated with his image. PSG executives have no problem with this request, but the same can not be said for Real Madrid.
According to GOAL, Madrid are able to negotiate a deal up to 50% at the moment. This could push Mbappe to stay at PSG for another year. The footballer's mother, Fayza Lamari, has recently traveled to Qatar to meet with the leaders of the French club. The media in France suggest that the president Nasser Al-Khelaifi is willing to meet any request, with the sole purpose that Mbappe does not leave in the summer. If this happens the striker will leave at zero cost, as his contract expires at the end of the season.
After PSG's 5-1 win over Lorient, just a few weeks ago, Mbappe reiterated once again that nothing has been finally decided about the future, not ruling out a contract renewal with his current club.
