Kylian Mbappe has reportedly already signed a long-term contract with Real Madrid, starting next season. The news was published by the prestigious Spanish media Marca, according to which, the French striker will be part of the galacticos for the next 5 years. After the soap opera of 2022, where Mbappe gave up at the last moment the transfer to Real, this time both sides are safe, and have taken care that everything goes as it should.
Mbappe will be the highest paid player at "Los Blancos", but still, the Frenchman's salary will be lower than Real's proposal in 2022. This has come specifically at the request of president Florentino Perez, who has asked that Mbappe's salary not to disrupt the salary structure of the current players of Real Madrid. According to unofficial sources, the Frenchman is expected to benefit from around 15-20 million euros per season. Meanwhile, the club and the striker have also agreed on image rights, after some initial disagreements.
Mbappe and his agents have agreed to the limited financial package as it is the only way for the forward to realize his dream of playing for Real Madrid. However, the good relationship between the player and president Florentino Perez has also had a positive effect on reaching an agreement between the parties. Perez expressed disappointment with Mbappe in 2022 when the Frenchman pulled out of the deal at the last minute, but it appears the pair have maintained good contact despite the past.
The presentation of Mbappe at the Bernabeu is expected to take place in July, the month during which the new works in the legendary stadium of Real Madrid will be officially inaugurated. We have to wait for the confirmation of the news from the club itself, but this is not expected to happen until June.
