Manchester United are interested in transferring Victor Osimhen to Old Trafford during the January transfer window. The "Red Devils" have long been monitoring the Nigerian bomber, who is part of Napoli, but currently plays on loan to the Turks of Gallatasaray. The agreement can be reached this market, taking into account the possible departure of Marcus Rashford from the team. The Englishman seems not to be in the plans of coach Ruben Amorim, and his departure would open the door to the approach of Osimhen.
The German media have reported that the leaders of United are already in constant contact with Osimhen's representatives, and it is not expected that there will be any problems in reaching an agreement, in terms of the personal terms of the contract. However, a potential problem for United could be the price of the player's card. Napoli are expected to demand around 75 million euros for Osimhen's services, for any team looking to make him their own in January.
The player has an active loan contract with Gallatasaray for the whole season. However, the contract includes a clause where Napoli has the right to sell his card, in case he finds an agreement with a club in January.
At the same time, coach Ruben Amorim wants to strengthen the other departments, namely the midfield and the left wing of the defense. In terms of defence, the English are monitoring Theo Hernandez. The Frenchman's current contract with Milan expires at the end of next year, and at the moment the parties have not yet found a common language to sign a renewal.
Hernandez has been a key player this season for Milan, but has been left out of the starting lineup in the Reds' last two games. For this reason, the defender can end his career in Milan, to start a new chapter, why not at Old Trafford.
