English media have reported that Manchester United is preparing an official offer for PSG striker Randal Kolo Muani. The "Red Devils" are ready to pay around 70 million euros for the Frenchman, starting from Joshua Zirkzee's difficult start at Old Trafford. The striker joined United from Bologna in the summer market, but he could leave the club very soon, as he has failed to have the impact expected of him in the first meetings. However, the Dutchman is expected to be given time until the end of the season, as it is still too early to make a decision.
However, United are looking to bring in a solid name to help the attacking department, and Kolo Muani looks a solid option. Despite the departure of Kylian Mbappe from PSG, Muani has not had a greater impact with his game in Paris. We recall that the attacker joined the French club in the summer of 2023, for the figure of 95 million euros. The Parisians now have the chance to recover a large part of this figure, to then invest it in other players.
Coach Luis Enrique has preferred Goncalo Ramos and Desire Doue in terms of the center of attack. Meanwhile, apart from the fact that the player has already lost his starting role in Paris, United's leaders are motivated to bring him to Old Trafford, and because of his style of play. Kolo Muani has shown that he can also play on the wing as a winger, offering more flexibility to coach Erik ten Hag.
Some Manchester United fans have expressed concern over the fact that PSG seem to find it quite easy to give up the Frenchman, thus calling into question aspects of his game. However, it seems that the club will make an effort to bring the talented player to Old Trafford.
