Bournemouth striker Antoine Semenyo has recently attracted the attention of many rival clubs in the Premier League, including Liverpool, Newcastle and Tottenham Hotspur. Semenyo has started the new season in the Premier League very well, and has scored 12 goals in 50 total appearances for his club. We recall that the striker joined Bournemouth in the January market last year from Bristol City in the Championship. Even then, competition for the player's signature was high, with West Ham, Southampton and Crystal Palace also chasing him.
The club leaders do not want to lose the striker, as happened with Dominic Solanke in the summer, who joined Tottenham Hotspur. Bournemouth made a whopping £55 million from the sale of Solanke, but lost a very important player, and the club will not lose another valuable asset like Semenyo, at least not yet.
The striker is only 24 years old and his young age makes him a very attractive option for many clubs, not only in the Premier League. The player started his professional career at the age of 17 with Bristol City. In his final season in the Championship, Antoine Semenyo scored 14 goals before moving to Bournemouth. The player still has 5 years left on his active contract with the club and this puts Bournemouth in a very good negotiating position.
If Antoine leaves, the club will rely on other players in the attacking department, including Ryan Christie, Marcus Tavernier and Luis Sinisterra. At the moment, it is not yet known if Semenyo wants to start a new chapter in his career. However, the striker will be faced with very tempting offers, including the opportunity to play in the UEFA Champions League.
