Armando Broja will hold talks with manager Enzo Maresca in London to decide his future, with Everton and Wolves among the clubs interested in the Chelsea striker.
Broja was not included in the squad that lost 2-1 to Real Madrid at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, although he was not injured.
The 22-year-old striker, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Fulham, is expected to leave this summer. Broja, who grew up in Chelsea's academy, was rarely used in the United States, while 18-year-old Marc Guiu was preferred at striker in Nicolas Jackson's absence through injury. Christopher Nkunku has also been used as a striker.
Maresca was asked after the match against Real about Broja's absence and said:
"It was just a decision. He was unharmed, thankfully for him and for us. We'll see what happens."
We remember that the London Blues were defeated by Madrid in the pre-season match, but the results of these challenges are not entirely important, as they serve more as a test of physical condition, on the eve of the new season.
A move to Everton would likely require Dominic Calvert-Lewin to leave Goodison Park. This is due to the financial fair play rules set by the Premier League. Everton were penalized with a points deduction last season, and the club's management wants to avoid a repeat of this situation.
Broja was activated for just 72 minutes during five friendlies on Chelsea's US tour.
Others who were activated for less minutes and can be sold or loaned before the end of this market are Ben Chilwell, Renato Veiga, Angelo Gabriel and others.
