Paris St-Germain has found an agreement with the Arabs of Al-Hilal, for the transfer of Neymar to the Arab championship. The Parisians will benefit a full 90 million euros from the transfer, while the agreement is expected to be formalized very soon, since Neymar has also agreed with Al-Hilal, in terms of the personal terms of the contract.
The Brazilian is performing medical visits, as he is expected to travel to Saudi Arabia within this week. We remember that the Brazilian joined PSG for a record figure of 222 million euros from Barcelona in 2017. The attacker was no longer part of the plans of the new PSG coach, Luis Enrique.
Despite the high expectations, the stratospheric salary and the role as absolute starter, Neymar's adventure in Paris was accompanied by difficult times. The Brazilian suffered several injuries which kept him out of the green fields for long periods. The player played 173 times for PSG, winning 13 trophies, including 5 Ligue 1 titles. However, the Brazilian was unable to win the Champions League, the number 1 trophy on the club's list of priorities.
Now Neymar will become part of a new adventure, along with many other well-known names of European football, who chose Saudi Arabia as the new chapter of their careers. Among them are Karim Benzema, Cristiano Ronaldo, N'Golo Kante, Sadio Mane, Ruben Neves, Roberto Firmino, etc.
Meanwhile, at PSG, Kylian Mbappe has also returned to the team after talks deemed positive by the club's leaders. Mbappe's fate in Paris is still unclear, but the striker could sign a new contract with PSG despite interest from Real Madrid. The Frenchman was left out of his squad in the Ligue 1 opener against Lorient, but it seems that the problems between him and the club have already been resolved.
