Englishmen Liverpool are still monitoring Real Madrid ace Aurelien Tchouameni, despite the difficulty of this operation. "The Reds" are ready to accept a loan move, with the hope that the Frenchman will eventually sign for them later.
Liverpool have long been admirers of Tchouameni, and the English club attempted to acquire his services when the player was active with Monaco. Chelsea also expressed interest in the midfielder, but Tchouameni eventually signed for Real Madrid. The player has had a good first season in Spain, but has often not been activated as a starter by Ancelotti in the big matches. Tchouameni was not part of Real in the first challenge in the Champions League against Manchester City.
Jude Bellingham is expected to join Real's midfield next season, but Toni Kroos and Luka Modric are at the end of their careers, and Tchouameni could find more space in the team. The Frenchman himself has not expressed dissatisfaction and seems to be willing to be patient, while the leaders of Real also do not want to give up on him.
However, Liverpool has no intention of giving up the midfielder, considering the great need for improvements in this department. However, "The Reds" have a plan B ready if the Tchouameni operation is not realized. Other midfielders under the radar of the English club are Mason Mount, James Maddison, Florian Neuhaus, Ryan Gravenberch and Argentine Alexis Mac Allister.
Jude Bellingham was Jurgen Klopp's number 1 target for the summer transfer window, but based on Liverpool's performance this season, as well as the high cost of the Englishman's card, "The Reds" withdrew from the race. Bellingham is expected to sign with Real Madrid, as an agreement has been found between the player and the club on personal terms.
