Tottenham attacking midfielder Dele Alli could leave the English club in the January transfer window. The player does not seem to be in the plans of Italian coach Antonio Conte and in case the latter gives approval for the move, the president of the club, Daniel Levy will smoothly approve the move.
Alli has long been out of the title with the "Spurs", while at the time when the club was run by Jose Mourinho, the Englishman never managed to convince the Portuguese coach of his abilities. The opposite happened during the period when the team was led by Mauricio Pochettino. Dele Alli became the orientation compass for the midfield team. Coach Nuno Espirito Santo saw the same potential in the Englishman, but with his departure from Tottenham, Alli's chances to be a starter in the team reach the end.
The footballer has a valid contract with "Suprsat" until 2024. This could be a potential problem for Tottenham, as the price required for Alli's card will be high, given the active contract. This means that many clubs can step in to spend big figures on the midfielder. For this reason, Tottenham is also analyzing the option of loaning Alli for a certain period of time.
But what are the footballer's options? Last year Alli was very close to transferring to PSG, but Tottenham president Levy stopped the operation. Considering the recent approaches to PSG, this scenario seems to be no longer valid for the English midfielder.
Unofficial sources suggest that there is an interest of some rival clubs in the Premier League for Alli's card. Among them, Aston Villa, Wolves and Newcastle. The experience in one of these teams can serve the Tottenham player, to show once again that his potential and talent are worthy of a high caliber team.
