The English media have reported that Marcus Rashford has so far rejected 3 offers from Saudi Arabia, among which one is estimated at 35 million pounds per year. Despite the staggering offers, and the difficult situation he is going through at Manchester United, it seems that Rashford is not considering the possibility of playing football in Saudi Arabia, at least at this point in his career.
Manchester United leaders are willing to let the player leave in the January transfer window, as coach Ruben Amorim has left him out of his squad in recent games. Despite the fact that the Portuguese technician has expressed the desire for Rashford to continue to be part of the team, it seems that the English striker is no longer part of Amorim's plans for the future.
The 27-year-old wants to play at the highest level and Saudi Arabia would not allow him to do that. Rashford's plan is to regain his place as a starter in the English national team, and to do that he has to play for one of the big teams in the European arena. The player has also dismissed the possibility of a transfer to the Turkish league, after interest from Fenerbahce. We recall that Rashford was not part of the English national team at Euro 2024.
Last month, the striker openly expressed his desire to leave the Red Devils, when he said he was ready for a new adventure. However, the player has an active contract with the club until 2028. United will be waiting for offers for the striker this market, and the possibility of a loan deal cannot be ruled out. If the club looking to take Rashford on loan is willing to pay most of the player's wages, United's leaders will give the green light to the transfer. This could be a good opportunity for Rashford himself, to find his best form again.
