Leicester shock United, Ole Solskjaer in danger of dismissal?

Leicester City stepped up pressure on Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after a well-deserved victory over opponents in a dramatic match at King Power Stadium. United tried to save a point from a terrible performance, but the "foxes" secured their most important victory of the season, after a not so good start to Premier League.

The loss thus ended United's English league record, as Solskjaer's men were unbeaten in 29 transfer games.

It all started well for United when Mason Greenwood's superb long-range shot gave the Red Devils the lead after 18 minutes of play. But Leicester restored the balance on the field before the first half, when Kelechi Iheanacho snatched the ball from Harry Maguire, and then served Youri Tielemans. The latter sent the ball into the net without much effort.

Leicester City showed exceptional form after the break, totally dominating the second half of the meeting. It was Caglar Soyuncu who gave the home side the lead for the first time in the 78th minute of the challenge.

Marcus Rashford, returned as a replacement three months after shoulder surgery, seemed to pull United out of the difficult situation when he ran towards Victor Lindelof's long ball, to then equalize the figures with a precise shot. But, in the last minutes, Leicester realized the big upset.

In the 83rd minute of the match, Ayoze Perez passed the ball to Jamie Vardy, who hit hard, leaving no chance to react to goalkeeper David de Gea. This time there was no response from United, and Patson Daka scored the fourth goal for Leicester in extra time, securing a spectacular victory for the Foxes.

With a super quality staff of players, everyone can agree that the responsibility for the loss lies with coach Solskjaer.
