Dusan Vlahovic looks set to leave Juventus this summer, with interest in him growing. His contract with Juventus expires in 2026, and negotiations for an extension have remained at a difficult point. Juventus are open to a new deal, albeit on terms lower than his current salary of around £215,000 per week. For this reason, the Serbian is expected to leave Juventus this summer.
Sources say Vlahovic remains on Arsenal's wish list, with him considered one of Mikel Arteta's preferred players, along with RB Leipzig's Benjamin Sesko. This makes it clear that the player is a target for many clubs as the transfer saga continues to unfold.
A significant development is that Aston Villa, looking for a No. 9 striker to replace Jhon Duran, have identified Vlahovic as a summer target. While Aston Villa have yet to make a formal request, sources confirm that interest in Vlahovic is strong and the club are seriously considering a move.
Vlahovic's team have been working intensively, offering the player to several big European clubs, including Newcastle, Bayer Leverkusen, Borussia Dortmund and Marseille. So far, none of these teams have expressed a clear interest, but Aston Villa appear to be one of those considering him as a real option.
Today, while Aston Villa have sold Jhon Duran for around £65m, the loan signing of Marcus Rashford from Manchester United has helped to fill the gap, including a £40m option to buy. However, Rashford's primary use on the left wing has prompted a demand for a new centre-forward, who would strengthen competition with Ollie Watkins and give the club a stronger position in the race for the Champions League.
