Officials of the Italian football federation have recently announced some interesting news. Footballers from the Italian national team have received the first dose of anti-covid vaccine, as part of measures to develop the right path of Euro 2020. The Ministry of Health has announced that it has authorized an order, where it gives priority to the vaccination of "Azure", now that we are very close to the start of the European.
The local football federation expressed itself through its president Gabriele Gravina:
"Today 12 athletes were vaccinated in Rome and 14 or 15 others in Milan.

This was the number that was announced to us by Mancini (the national team coach), and later, we will submit to UEFA, the official list of players gathered for the competition. "
The Italian national team has a big advantage as it will play all three group stage matches in Rome. Also, and a quarterfinal, if they manage to qualify. The Mancini-led team will face Turkey, Switzerland and Wales, who, although not the strongest opponents, know how to surprise.
Meanwhile, UEFA has announced new rules for national teams that will be affected by covid during the matches. The highest European football body said that teams affected by the virus can postpone their matches for up to 48 hours. This deadline is left to the teams to give the opportunity to find new players. The rule will apply in case the teams have less than the required minimum of ready players, which is 13. While the nationals who despite this, again will not be able to hold the meeting, will lose at the table with the result 3-0. UEFA has also envisioned sanctions for federations that could be included in this scenario.
The new rules are similar to those the European football government imposed on competitions such as the Champions League and Europa League this year.
