The American striker of Chelsea, Christian Pulisic, is very close to a transfer to the Italians of AC Milan. The agreement is expected to be formalized soon, as according to the English media, the Reds and Blacks of Milan will pay Chelsea 20 million pounds for the player's card. Pulisic does not seem to be part of the plans of the blues for the next season, and in Milan there are better chances to secure the place of the starter.
We recall that Pulisic joined Chelsea from Borussia Dortmund in 2019 for the figure of 57.6 million pounds. The player scored 26 goals in 145 matches with the English club, but failed to make the impact expected of him at Stamford Bridge. However, the American managed to win the Champions League in 2021, being active in the final against Manchester City.
Christian Pulisic will join his Milan team-mate Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who also left Chelsea to join the Italian side. The midfielder stated that he was not satisfied with his role and the positions where he was active on the field, and this was the main reason for his departure. The Londoners also decided that David Datro Fofana will play on loan this season at Union Berlin in the Bundesliga. The talented striker from Ivory Coast has only been active 4 times for Chelsea, since his transfer from Molde in the January market.
Meanwhile, the leaders of Chelsea have chosen to leave several other names this summer market, among them starters, including Kai Havertz, Mason Mount and Mateo Kovacic. Cesar Azpilicueta also left the club to join Atletico Madrid after a long career at Stamford Bridge. Meanwhile, Kalidou Koulibaly, Edouard Mendy and Kante also decided to leave Chelsea, to start a new adventure in Arabia.
