Benjamin Sesko's agents have contacted Liverpool following Arsenal's decision to sign Viktor Gökeres. For a long time this summer, it looked like Arsenal would sign Benjamin Sesko to be their main striker. However, RB Leipzig refused to accept the €90m price tag for the player, leaving Arsenal without a chance to complete the deal.
Sesko, 22, is a striker with considerable potential, but Arsenal were unwilling to accept the terms demanded by Leipzig. Meanwhile, Arsenal have decided to sign Gyokeres from Sporting CP, opening up the possibility for Liverpool and several other clubs to make a move for Benjamin Sesko.
Inside sources say that Sesko's team have contacted Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United and Newcastle United, keeping all four clubs informed of the current situation. Although Sesko is disappointed not to join Arsenal, he is now considering his other options.
As well as staying at RB Leipzig, his team are also considering other options, including a move to the Premier League. After a year in which he rejected a move to Arsenal, Sesko is ready to take the next step in his career, although he is not desperate to leave the German club.
