Chelsea are reportedly keen to bring Marc Guehi to Stamford Bridge in the summer transfer window. Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca is an admirer of the defender and sees him as a figure with the potential to become a leader in the Blues' backline. Guehi has attracted attention with his performances for Palace, but also with his impressive performances for England during the recent European Championship.
Guehi has made 141 appearances for Palace since joining from Chelsea four years ago for £4m. The defender is one of the club's most important players, but the Englishman's ambitions of playing in the Champions League are not being realised at a team like Palace. This is another reason that could push the player towards a new adventure, and potentially, a return to Stamford Bridge.
