Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing the former Arsenal striker, who will be available for free next summer. Arne Slott's side have had a difficult season defending their Premier League title, currently sitting in 8th place, eight points behind leaders Arsenal, despite spending a massive £420m last summer.
While the defence has received much attention, the attack has also suffered, scoring fewer goals than rivals Manchester City and Arsenal after 11 games. New signings Alexander Isak and Florian Wirtz have failed to impress, and Mohamed Salah is in poor form at the moment, making the sale of Luis Diaz to Bayern Munich a huge loss.
The Merseyside club are looking at ways to strengthen their attack without spending too much again, and it appears a suitable solution is on the horizon. Bayern Munich star Serge Gnabry is out of contract at the end of the season, and Liverpool, along with Juventus, are among the clubs interested in the player, who is set to become a free agent.
Gnabry has scored four goals and provided three assists in nine Bundesliga appearances this season. It remains to be seen whether he would be interested in a move to Anfield, despite his previous Premier League experience with Arsenal. However, Liverpool have a long list of targets, including defender Dayot Upamecano, who will also be out of contract next summer.
Meanwhile, Slot will try to get the team back on track in the match against Nottingham Forest on November 22.
