Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez is increasingly likely to leave Anfield this summer, with TWO Premier League clubs considering a move for the Uruguayan. The 25-year-old was a key player for the Reds under former manager Jurgen Klopp but has struggled to establish himself as a regular in Arne Slot's starting XI. Nunez has failed to make an impact when given the chance by Slot, scoring just seven goals in all competitions this season. Now, all indications are that he will be leaving Liverpool.

Sources say Newcastle are also keeping a close eye on Nunez. Liverpool and Arsenal's interest in Magpies forward Alexander Isak has forced them to consider a range of attacking options this summer, although they will do everything they can to keep Isak and could demand up to £150m for him. As previously reported, Newcastle have included the likes of Viktor Gyokeres, Liam Delap and Victor Boniface on their list, with Nunez also an option. However, they could face competition for his signature from another Premier League rival.
Nottingham Forest are monitoring Nunez's situation and are considering a move this summer. A new striker is a priority for Nuno Espirito Santo and Viktor Gyokeres and Victor Osimhen have both been linked with moves to the City Ground. If Forest secure Champions League qualification, for which they are on track, they are looking to strengthen in several positions. Sources say Nunez is one of the profiles they admire, alongside Atalanta striker Ademola Lookman, who has long been on their radar.
